Inspired by their love of live music and hospitality, Ken and Brandie Newman founded Newman Hospitality Group (NHG) in 2016. After hosting several successful concerts and events the couple seized an opportunity to open their first restaurant and live music venue in Canyon Lake, California, The Canyon Cowboy. The restaurant was an instant success and has won “Best Casual Restaurant” in the Inland Empire every year since opening in 2017.
In 2020, NHG was awarded the opportunity to purchase The Temecula Stampede in Temecula, California. This 30,000 square foot space is the largest Country Western venue on the West Coast. Since the purchase, The Stampede has hosted several large scale concerts and events, including The Old Town Music Festival, a two day festival featuring The Band Perry, Chris Janson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Tyler Farr and many others.
NHG’s latest venture, Old Town Ranch, is a guest ranch where patrons can stay in luxurious Conestoga Covered Wagons and pony up to an Old West Saloon.
Ken Newman, President and CEO of NHG, began his career with the family business, Newman and Sons, Inc. After working his way up the ladder, Ken became the CFO of Newman and Sons in 2001 and was eventually promoted to President in 2004. In 2007, Ken founded RAMCO with 3 million in sales the first year. Today, RAMCO is the leading recycled aggregate producer in Southern California with over 20 million in sales in 2020.
Brandie Newman, Vice President of NHG, uses her many years of successful business experience and people skills to manage the daily operations. Brandie grew up in a small farming town in Arkansas, but from a young age had much larger aspirations for life. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2001, Brandie opened up her first retail business at the age of 23 in Texas. In 2006, she took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles where she was signed by Sirius XM to host a nationally syndicated radio show which boasted 3 million listeners worldwide. Her years on air helped her cultivate strong professional and personal relationships with renowned people within the entertainment industry which she still maintains today.
